YES! i do love competence! i don't root for ineffectual teenage assassins or villains who are bad at their job. :) i noticed this watching GoT this season when i caught myself vaguely admiring Roose Bolton- he's a bastard, but a *competent* bastard. i think the vaguely feminist thing on there might be women who unashamedly want power- whether that's being queen of a country or queen of the office.
i am drawn to intimidating/scary types. it's funny, i look at this list and i think it reflects a bit of my own duality. I feel like Liz Lemon most of the time (my house certainly looks like LL lives here) but I've been told I can be very intimidating when you're sitting across the seminar table from me.
